Thank you for helping to support the brands that make this blog possible!
When it comes to keeping my little one's bum clean, I've done my research! Before he had even arrived I was subscribed ready to push send for the Honest Co. diaper and wipe monthly subscription. That's why after 15 months of being a loyal Honest enthusiast, I was beyond disappointed by the safety recall of their wipes a few months ago. I spent that day attempting over and over to cancel my subscription; and clearly so did so many other Mamas as it was near impossible to do so due to high volume of calls/emails. I made the swift decision to cancel as my little one had frequently placed those wipes in his mouth. Once they can move, you obviously do whatever you can to keep them occupied mid diaper change, so the wipes are forfeited over to the little guy to keep those hands distracted and one inevitably ends up in the mouth. When I learned so many of the wipes had been comprised, I was so frustrated with a brand that totes safety, integrity, and clean products. So the research stage began again. As a "kinda crunchy" mama, I knew I wanted something natural, safe, and comfortable for my little one. That's when I stumbled upon Parasol Co. diapers and wipes. After using them for almost two months here's my honest review.
As a mama, it's of high importance to keep things as natural as possible when it comes to my little guy. We make every effort to only use safe and as natural as possible products for our little one. Unfortunately, we live in a day and era where it's inevitable that we're exposed to toxins in the environment so we do what we can to limit introducing more to his little system. This includes what the diapers and wipes are comprised of, did you know that many of the most popular diaper brands have toxins such as bleach, dyes, and potentially harmful fragrances, that all have no business being near to where my little one does his business. I did my research, of what seems to be the battle of what's the best disposable natural diaper. I must admit, I was first drawn to Parasol Co. due to their beautiful and chic designs, and when I learned of their products being natural and Eco-conscious, I knew I needed to try them! I partnered with the Parasol company to try their diapers and wipes for a month and I'm beyond thrilled to share that we absolutely LOVE them.
Why do we love them you might ask? Since love is a strong word to use for something like a diaper and wipe. But let me tell you, there's seriously no other natural diaper or wipe that can compare to the quality and superiority of these. First, the wipes are unparalleled. I've used every natural wipe on the market and let me tell you nothing holds a candle to these amazing wipes. Yes, I said amazing wipes! Here's why: the thickness, quality, texture, and smell is so wonderful! The engineering of these wipes makes them feel almost cloth-like, which makes for a max two wipe quota even with the most disastrous of diaper changes! They truly clean, stay moist, and leave him without any weird residue. Their hypoallergenic wipes are alcohol-free, oil-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, fragrance-free, and free of petroleum-derived ingredients. My little guy was unfortunate enough to inherit my extremely sensitive skin, so we learn very quickly if he has a reaction to a product. After using them for almost two months, he has not had any reaction to either the wipes or diapers! One tip, is to always secure the re-usable sticker seal tight to ensure the moisture stays locked into the wipe packages.
And let's talk about these diapers for a second. These diapers are seriously beyond super soft!! So soft as in, if I had to wear a diaper, these would be the ones I would want to wear (yes, I seriously said that). They're incredibly absorbent and have even stood the big test of the overnight challenge (granted we have had a few leaks overnight, but we're still not night weaned in our household. So we may not be the best barometer of the wetness gauge for overnight use.). Their Drylock technology creates an extra absorbent diaper without the bulk, making for a slim design. And did I mention how soft they are?! You only need to touch these super soft diapers to know that they are superior to any other ones out there. And the style of these diapers are just so chic! Like I said, being that I'm often aesthetically-drawn to products, I love the minimalist style, and my absolute favorites are the rainbows, hearts, and waves! If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen from my Instagram stories that my little man is usually in some form of undress, i.e. shirt and just a diaper. This is because we live in Arizona, and it's still over 100 in September, but also because I loathe doing laundry and limit adding to the never-ending pile if I don't have to. So these super cute diapers definitely double as "attire" around our house.
The breakdown and how it works: you have the option to do diapers and wipes subscription monthly or just diapers subscription monthly. You can change the frequency of delivery to anywhere from 3-6 weeks and can change it as needed. The cost is $85 for a month worth of diapers and wipes, which includes 4 large packs of diapers, 3 full size packs of wipes, and 2 travel-size packs of wipes. You may also just subscribe for diapers only for $70, which includes the 4 large packs of diapers. The cost breakdown depends on the size of the diaper as the amount of diapers will vary per package depending on the size of the diaper. Fitzgerald is currently wearing a size 5 and we receive 140 diapers per package. By subscribing to the monthly service, you can save up to 25% on diapers and wipes as compared to what it adds up to be with buying individually. For your subscription, you simply pick which size and collection you wish to have, enter delivery frequency (which can be changed at a later date, as I stated above), and press send and they arrive within days to your front door! One dilemma I did run into, is there appeared to be an inventory concern about a month ago, which delayed my review as I needed to get my hands on some more and subscribe. It was specific to the size that I needed; I was not a subscribed member at the time, so I'm uncertain of how it may have affected others. Once the size I needed was restocked, I signed up immediately for the monthly diaper and wipe delivery service. I'm hoping this was an isolated inventory issue. Parasol Co. does vary from Honest subscription in that you cannot pick multiple sizing (we had done this previously, to size up for overnights in order to help with our excessive wetting at night) as well as they do not offer overnight diapers and additional baby care products. I'll tell you, there is nothing more convenient than having the diapers and wipes delivered to your front door! No stress or freak out moments, of running out of diapers and wipes when you critically need them! Sign up and sit back to know that your little one is covered with the comfiest, chic-est, and safest diapers and wipes! If you're convinced like me, and ready to make the jump to becoming a subscriber, you can use my code here (https://www.parasolco.com/subscriptions/diapers-wipes?recoCode=u4YoWruijw ) to receive $20 off after you subscribe to your diaper service.
